S&A House is a private residence in Kuala Kubu Bharu conceived as a calm and practical family home with a strong relationship to its landscaped setting. The architectural expression is defined by a composition of pitched roof forms, generous overhangs and a restrained material palette that gives the residence a familiar yet contemporary character.
A broad sheltered car porch forms the principal arrival threshold, while carefully positioned openings bring natural light into the interior and establish visual connections towards the surrounding garden. The low-profile massing allows the house to sit comfortably within its residential context, with landscape used to soften the transition between the building, driveway and site boundaries.
The result is a modest contemporary residence that prioritises comfort, climatic response and straightforward everyday living.
