Putrajaya Apartment Concept was developed as a competition proposal for a residential development at Precinct 17, Putrajaya. The conceptual design, developed by AAM in collaboration with ROA, was awarded First Place in the competition organised by Putrajaya Holdings.
The proposal explores a contemporary model of high-density residential living in which the apartment blocks are organised around landscaped communal spaces and shared facilities. Projecting balconies, framed openings and variations in façade depth break down the scale of the residential elevations while establishing a strong architectural rhythm.
Landscape forms an integral part of the development, creating shaded pedestrian spaces and a greener interface between the residential blocks and communal areas. The overall concept seeks to balance density, residential amenity and architectural identity within the planned urban context of Putrajaya.
